In this shawl, the fluffy chainette construction of Sky adds interest to simple stockinette and garter stitch for a cozy accessory that you can style a million ways and wear with nearly anything.

Our sample of this ever-popular kerchief was made with two balls of Drops Sky in Dusty Pink. If you are the sort of person who likes to keep their swatch, you will need a third ball. Our finished kerchief weights 96g, so there is not a lot left over.

In order to accommodate the yarn substitution, we used a few tricks to ensure the finished project has nice stretchy edges. Most notably, our sample knitter did a yarn over at the edges of each row and dropped them on the following rows. She also used a stretchy cast-off method.
