Notes

We can’t get enough of Andrea Mowry’s fun knits! For this cheerful piece we opted to use Schoppel Edition 3. Each skein features colour-changing strands which adds depth to the appearance of the cowl.

If you’re not ready for colourwork yet, have no fear! Mosaic knitting involves knitting with just one colour at a time. A great addition to your spring wardrobe!

When choosing the order of our colours, our sample knitter took the following approach:
Colour A: Dark/Frames the face (2298)
Colour B: You see the most of this colour (2361)
Colour C: Use the lightest colour (2401)

Please note: our knitter ran out of colour B in section 7, so where it says “Repeat Rows 1-8” and “Repeat Rows 1-4” she switched B for A.

I hope you enjoy knitting and wearing your shift cowl as much as us! You can buy a kit for this cowl on our website!
