Alpaca is naturally warm and soft and has marvellous drape. We love it in squishy garter stitch for maximum coziness. The graphic blocks of colour and stripes in Vertices Unite make for an impactful finished piece, and, when combined with the magic of alpaca, it is sure to become a wardrobe staple.

We’ve chosen an all-neutral palette, which makes this shawl a go-with-everything gem, but you can easily create your own colour combination to suit your personal style.

Our sample used two balls each of Drops Puna in Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Black and one ball each of Puna in Natural and Grey. Our sample knitter used a 4mm (US 6) needle, but we suggest using a 4.5mm (US 7) unless you are a loose knitter.

We made significant modifications to the numbers of stitches and repeats in the pattern. For details, please see our addendum. The addendum is included with our Vertices Unite kit, but if you wish to choose different colours, please ask for a copy.
