In the colder months of the year, we get so many customers asking for pattern suggestions for simple bulky hats. And it makes perfect sense! It makes an ideal quick project and it a great gift for anyone with a head.

Our sample used one ball of Drops Andes in Minty Rose Mix. We made our sample 22cm/8.5” deep with an additional 9cm/3.5” for the brim. In order to make a hat out of only one ball, we did 24cm/9.5” before starting the crown decreases. If you want to knit the pattern as written, you will need two balls.
