We love a cozy wrap for beach walks and for curling up with a good book. Wallace is the perfect project for adventurous beginners and seasoned knitters alike. Julie Hoover can be relied upon for timeless wardrobe staples, and this wrap combines simple knits and purls to great textural effect.

We chose to make a longer and slightly less chunky version in beautiful organic merino, and we think it strikes the perfect balance.

Our sample used 5 skeins of Juniper Moon Farm Santa Cruz Organic Merino in Jade.

Our finished wrap measures 215cm/85” in length, and we used a 5.5mm (US9) to get the perfect fabric in our chosen yarn. We opted for a denser gauge than the pattern suggests, because our yarn is not quite as heavy.
