This yarn is so splitty, which makes triple crochet stitches that much more annoying. It’s like working with 8 threads vs. a single strand of yarn. Sure is a pretty fabric, though.

Started with a fsc instead of trying to work these fiddly stitches into a fiddly chain. I’m also replacing all the chains at the beginning of the tc rounds with a stacked tc. Makes the seam more noticeable, but I hate working into chain stitches.

Picked it back up and am determined to finish it. I’m going to just say again for the record I HATE THIS YARN. Maybe it’s just these skeins or this color.

Before fastening off, I double-checked the pattern. It says to make it 40 cm long, and I only have 35 cm. I like it worn low on my hips the way it is, BUT I’m afraid I’ll regret not having more length. Now I have to decide if I want to continue the torture.

Nope. Just thinking of the torture, I’m pretty sure I’m done. Pretty sure.

Blocked a few days ago. I need to try it on again to decide if it’s actually long enough. Then I’ll finally be done and can wear it.
