I don’t have enough of any one color to make two single layer, extra big, extra long socks for Alex. I’m at least going to make this one for his swollen ankle up to the top of his calf.
UPDATE: these actually stretch up to his knee and over it a little bit.

Followed Calumet Knits’ Jogless Color Change with Knit 2 Together technique video here. It’s not jogless for me but it feels more secure. Maybe it just takes more practice.

This morning I cranked 150 rows on the Addi King.

#1 sock pattern:
WY
Leave long tail (3x wingspan) for crocheting
25 rows yellow
15 rows purple
15 rows green
15 rows yellow again
80 rows dark gray
Cinch cast off

Last night I finished the second sock.
#2 sock pattern:

Leave long tail (2.5x wingspan) for crocheting
25 rows yellow
15 rows purple
15 rows green
15 rows yellow again
15 rows purple again
65 rows dark gray
Cinch cast off

Measured 30 inches when finished.

On the side showing where I sewed in all the ends, it looks terrible.
