Wish I’d watched that video from the start. I don’t love that the body is made in turned rows but the yoke was made in the round. I’m going to go with it, but next time I might turn every round throughout.
I’m making adjustments since I’m using #4 worsted yarn. The plan is to follow the pattern and meet the measurements of the Athabasca Falls Pullover (project here). Those measurements:
Collar: 20” long (84 rows before join) with smaller hook (SAME as prev.)
Yoke: Prev. 7.25” tall from R1-12, worked to 176 stitches (not incl. collar) NOTE: I might do slightly smaller based on the fit of the previous sweater.
Body: 13.25”
Waist Band: 2” tall
Sleeves: Prev. 17” long including cuff; decrease every R starting with R10. PLAN: stop stripes after R 24 (not R 30) and 26 sts (not 20).
Final weight Prev: 16.99 oz / 482 grams

After Round 10, the yoke is measuring 5.5” not including the collar. I frogged back to Round 5 where I’d missed the last 3dc cluster of the round.
From that point on, I’m going to start turning after each round.

Frogged back 5 rounds because it really seems too big
On the redo, I did go ahead and join the armpit on the left side as I went rather than leaving a big hole there. Seems like it’ll work out ok, even better.
YOKE:
6” tall from R1-11 rounds, 128sts -- 16 clusters on front and back and 14 clusters on arms.
Measures: ___“ across and 6” from bottom of collar
BODY:
No ch1 between clusters.
Turning after every round.
R1 68 clusters around / 112sts
R2 work a cluster into each armpit
Measures: ___“ across and __” from bottom of armpit

As of this morning, I have 24 rounds of the body done and both sleeves done through R8. Body still needs some length, but I haven’t figured out how much, yet. I have 3 or 4 colors that I haven’t used yet, so I’m thinking at least that many. The goal is for it to be long enough to cover my bum.
