Clearly not a crossbody bag, but I wanted to give MJ’s Off The Hook the credit since I started with her pattern.

I followed her pattern to a point, then did my own thing to get to the size I wanted.
R6 3dc-ch2-3dc in corners, 2dc in each space around.
R7 hdc around, and I think I did 3hdc-ch3-3hdc in corners (I’ll need to check)
R9 Granny round, 3dc-ch3-3dc in corners, then I did sk3-3dc, sk2 around. I made a note that I should have made only 2dcs and 2chs and not used 3 anywhere in this round.

Squares are unblocked and about 12” across. I need to figure out how I’ll actually hang them. I would need a very, very large stick if I want them all together or three ~15” ones if I want to simply hang them side by side.

I’m not actually sure I’m done, but I’ve made progress and I’m at a potential stopping point. I’ve hung them on the wall behind my bed. They need to be straightened, and possibly enlarged to fit the space better. Or maybe I’m done.
