Made this double thick (two-sided) since I used acrylic yarn rather than cotton. These yarns worked especially well with this pattern because of the length between color changes. They both made an interesting pattern.

I was kind of wigged out and confused about the designer’s note to start by chaining with a smaller hook, but I trusted her and I’m glad I did. Turns out, she knows what she’s talking about. ;)

I guessed on the hook sizes I used. I know I went up due to the yarn choice, but I can’t quite remember what I used.
