The pattern is easy to memorize, so that’s nice.

I’m experimenting with using the magic ring and the double magic ring instead of the chain 4/join to begin. I think I’ve landed on the magic ring.

I’m joining the squares as I go. You’re supposed to join in a specific order, I think so the join stitches are more uniform, but I’m joining based on what color I think should go where. Maybe as I get further into it, I’ll do it the “right way” but probably not. lol

Probably going to make a baby blanket size.

I was tired of moving around this oddly shaped practice piece, so I finished the extra square and sewed in all the ends. Not sure what I’ll do with it now. I only know I won’t be finishing a blanket.

I tried, I really tried. But I just couldn’t find a use for this piece, so I gave up and decided to frog it.
