Notes

Love using the shawls from The Buckland Boomerang e-book. They are great patterns for that special one-skein of yarn.

Yarn is dyed by a local dyer in Lodi using natural dyes, this skein dyed with beets.
Did bleed quite a bit when I soaked & rinsed but I expected that.

Loving the texture I’m getting with this yarn.

Used entire skein, just had about 4 gr left.

Started with Small Flower and after initial 12 set up rows continued with 14 repeats for a total of 72 rows.

On the side edging I did 3-ch picots over the flower loops instead of the ch-5 loops.

Used wire and LOTS of pins to block!

Pre-block: 31” neck x 18” side edge
Blocked: 44” neck x 21” edge
