I followed the pattern basic instructions, but changed it up a little. The pattern is found in Knit Simple Magazine, Spring/Summer 2008.

I used tarn (t-shirts cut into strips and stretched to make yarn). It took many cotton or cotton/blend shirts to make it the size it is, but I love the end result.

I held 2 pieces of tarn together as I crocheted and I used larger cord (11/16”?) bought at the local fabric store.

Rug is quite thick and will need to be washed by hand.
