Using my combo spin yarn.

11/13 Cast on today about 4:00 p.m. and was only going to work on this while I had a mug of tea. Next thing I knew it was 12:30 a.m.! I am loving knitting with this yarn and can’t put it down because I want to see the next color.

11/15 Put sleeves on waste yarn and joined in the round.

11/19 Started waist shaping as follow from armhole:

3.5” decrease 4
6.5” decrease 4
8.5” increase 4
11” increase 4

11/24 Waist shaping done. Knit to the body length before ribbing according to pattern. Decided to put body on waist yarn so I can finish neckline and sleeves and then will go back and see if I have enough yarn to make the body a bit longer.

11/25 Finished neckline. Started first sleeve. Alternating skeins.

11/27 I’ve renamed my project because a listener thought I as saying “compost spin”. So funny!

11/28 First sleeve done. Started second sleeve.

12/1 Finished second sleeve.

12/6 Finished bottom ribbing, bound off, and blocked.

12/9 Neckline too loose on me. Reknit using size 5 needles. Bound off in pattern with regular bind off instead of stretchy bind off.

12/13 Discovered one sleeve was shorter than the other so I had to reknit it as well.

Love this pattern and the yarn was fun to knit with.
