Body fits true to size (only increased one needle size on both), but sleeves were redone. Not sure exactly why the sleeves didn’t work for me as written. Was able to get a second fitting during his time off for Easter and redid them in between. Posting my mods for the sleeves in case useful to someone.
Body - S (40”).
My preferred tubular CO using JMC :)
Knit in the round, split at arms for flat knitting.
Purled column each side and all stitches accounted for in diagram (to say, no stitches were deducted for knitting in the round).
Peter is 38” and wearing +2 ease (intended ease is +1). I like the fit with less ease as worn by the Rowan model as well. Intended finished circumference should be about 41” (20.5” wide for S) after blocking.
Sleeves - S (40”).
Knit flat.
Alternating cable CO 51 with smaller needles. Next row begin rib pattern and at same time, reconfigure for 2 x 2 dropping last stitch - 50 stitches. Following row = row 1 (this will be RS when following diagram).
-Work 2 x 2 rib for 18 rows.
-Omit decreases that immediately follow ribbing, switch to larger needles.
-Follow diagram for 50 stitches (L), with increases to each end as written for (S) -- 84 stitches.
-Knit straight until about 19” from CO (82 rows from top of cuff).
-Shape top, cast off as written.
Mattress stitch for seams.

eta: He asked if I could raise the neckline just a bit or make it a little tighter, something I should have looked out for since I sized up. It doesn’t need a major adjustment, will go down a couple of needle sizes in the ribbing and redo it.
