Gorgeous lace pattern! Even without a gradient. Upside down I see birds in flight. I might try this in lace weight as well.

As for the yarn, a slow gradient in the color of my birthstone was just what I wished for. Thanks to Katrin for beautiful execution and such a huge assortment of colorways! I had mixed feelings with the feel of the yarn, but after blocking I was really pleased with how it shows off texture. And I very nearly ran out as my numbers were over throughout. Tightened up with a size three needle about halfway through and luckily had a few yards to spare.

I’m quite sure I misinterpreted one of the border increases and surprised that I kept going without checking back. So, the mistake is consistent but I know it’s there :)
