Needs only 1200 yds worsted charcoal w ?

Used crochet provisional CO (which was easy to undo and knit the trim from.
CO x(y,z…..) with intention of getting small shoulders. Increased st count to larger size as I got closer to underarm to allow for more inches around bust. Added extra st in underarm, too, so I’d have 14” around arm.

Knit first of 6 skeins in just 3 days.

Tried it on periodically…see fit in video below. Happy with the limited amount of excess fabric near armholes, which is not usually the case. Making narrower shoulders seems to have done the trick for my shape.

After waist shaping, added extra increases on rows in between rows of hip shaping. 13” below underarm, will add a few more stitches to enlarge hip area

It was a pleasure to knit…from beginning to end. Love the body/oomph of the yarn…enough stiffness for an outer garment and for the collar to not be too floppy.
The pattern is well written and with my modifications, I’m happy with the fit. I have a full skein left over.
