Used motif of Harlequin and instructions from Charm with Checkers (from Trove ).

Cast on at top of sleeve to determine shoulder construction and placement of top triangle. Loaded colors onto bobbins. Using same st count as pattern, even tho it’s smaller bust size and slightly different gauge. I’m getting closer to 6 or 6.5. Will get better idea as I knit of just how stiff this fabric will be. (I swatched on US 2,3 and 4 and chose 3.

On sleeve, after first 2 triangles…will be nr 44 st/45 st left and right of center. Added one st on proper side to even out 45/45. Decreased every 5th row til end of 7th triangle (48 total)

Cast on top front left and top front right and worked simultaneously, increasing at neck edge until right depth, then added stitches bet the two pieces to connect them. Left those stitches on cable and using a second cable, picked up stitches at shoulders and did similar construction: knit down two separate back pieces, just long enough to make overall neck opening large enough. Merged those with added stitches in between and began triangles.

Armscyes too big for sleeve, so I tapered side seams underarms to reduce the circumference. I also stitched sleeve onto outside of shoulder panel instead of selvedge to selvedge. Shoulders will need padding to hold them up parallel to shoulder seam.
