Blocking…stretched so much I snapped some yarn in the bind off row. Ripped out all 200 bind off stitches while sweater was being (wet) blocked. Decided to totally redo bind off row after blocking allowing it to be fully stretched out. Loosely binding off wasn’t loose enough.

Resumed 4/2020. Back was finished and blocked previously. See image for before/after.

Ripped and restarted front panels. When decreasing at neck, I suggest doing it on right side of work. Easier to keep track of while taking yo’s into a/c. Want to be sure you actually have fewer st. when you decrease.

I ignored the decrease quantities of every 2/4/6 rows. Needed to have total dec of 13 st on neckline edge & 22 st on armhole edge for shoulder pattern of 21 st to match up in pattern. {I did 1x5/1x4/1x4 for the neckline edge}

Will redo sleeves…don’t seem long enough.

Ordered more yarn. Different dye lot. Hooray for commercially dyed yarn. Looks close and consistent!

discovered great video for fixing mistakes in lace…just in case. Need to put lifeline periodically, though.
