Originally tried a thin flat chenille….very challenging to knit with. I cast on about 17 different times. Initially on size 9 but couldn’t get the stitch count to work for the pattern. Found a comparable stitch in an online stitch dictionary and it’s working out much better, but worming out. I tried holding yarn double with a strand of lavender cobweb leftover from Jeannie. That helped the chenille from looping out all over the place, but i didn’t like the marled effect. Kept reducing needle size and changed lace pattern. Must pull yarn and push into tightest position after each stitch!!
Finally got a lace pattern that didn’t worm out too much, but after about 3-4 inches realized I wouldn’t have nearly enough yarn.
