After doing a bit of gauge swatch, I went down a needle size to US 10 1/2. The fabric produced by US11 was just too loose for my taste. With the US 10 1/2, the scarf should measure roughly 60” in length.

I used a crochet cast on, using a crochet hook that’s equivalent to a size US10. I slipped the first stitch of each row with the yarn in front to get a neat, chained edge.

While I like the feel and colors of the Noro Odori, I’ve been disappointed to find 2 knots in each skein.

This really is a quick, easy project. Perfect TV knitting. Probably took me about 6 or 7 hours total.
