A lovely hat which I really enjoyed knitting. I had a little trouble getting started and had to frog the first few rows four times over I think. After that it went very smoothly and all the new-to-me stitches were easy to handle.

I did, incredibly stupidly, bring my cables to the wrong side on one row…..I didn’t notice this until I had cast off…….by which time I decided just to live with the error. Not very pretty but I doubt too many people wil notice.

The yarn is beautiful and so soft. It will be a pleasure to wear.
