Finally finished. It took me quite some time, well into clue 2 I think, to get comfortable with the lace pattern but once I was familiar with it I loved the knitting. A really good project for me to keep going with lace knitting and correct my multiple mistakes (well, most of them!). I’m sure I have learnt lots in the knitting of this shawl!

I’m so happy with the finished shawl. It will be perfect for chilly afternoons and evening. I’m also very delighted that I chose the Blacker Yarns Shetland DK - the natural Katmogit is such a warm stone colour and the wool is robust and warm without being rough. It feels very good to have used British wool which has had the minimal amount of treatment.
