I’ve always been vaguely distracted while watching The Shining by how adorable Danny’s outfits are.

Started this originally for myself, but realized my gauge wasn’t quite right for the space ship. Turned the ends in and knit in the round and it ended up about a 2t or 3t. Perfect size. Ended up great because I hate sewing pieces together. One-piece is much better. Combination of intarsia and stranded stitching, with the letters being embroidered.

Once I decided I was knitting a toddler sweater instead of an adult one, I didn’t follow the pattern very religiously. Just checked back on it at key points. Hardest part of this sweater was the colorwork; at one point I was knitting with 5 strands. Careful planning needs to be considered to not make a complete mess.

With the combination of burned out light, and a fairly uncooperative model, the pictures are a little blurry. Will have to try again later. And will also have to make an adult size.
