I’m determined NOT to let this blanket kick my ass. I’ve switched to a worsted weight yarn, and I’m not working double strands as indicated. So far I have ten rows of seed stitch done and it’s going well.

5/4/10: yay….past the first twenty rows of seed stitch! Now I’m working on the body and it’s going well.

6/5/10: putting this on hold, as I have some gifts that I need to finish.

6/17/10: FINALLY made it to the halfway point!! I’ve been really tempted in the last two weeks to cast on something small, but I’ve remained focused.

7/10/10: Ugh. So close to finishing, and it is TOO HOT to knit this!

7/18/10: Done! Just in time for the baby to be born via c-section next week!
