I really wanted to start this project as soon as I found the pattern. Another item to decorate my e-trike, this time for Mother’s day.
So I grabbed the white 8 ply acrylic purchased recently, only to find it was 4 ply. (It was among the 8 ply and I didn’t check the label). Never mind, I’ll use it double.
Lovely clear pattern. Easy to make. Looked lovely.
Then I grabbed the green yarn from stash. Just a row short! But I stretched it to fit and caught it in place with some sneaky stitching. It would be much nicer with the extra row.
I used green pipe cleaner that I already had because I don’t need the flower to support itself.

It’s a fantastic pattern and makes a beautiful carnation. Next one I make will be better.
