Adapted a pattern to use a fine 4ply yarn from stash (my late mother-in-law’s stash of acrylic baby yarn). Used other yarn from stash for the meatballs.
Taking the pattern, plus inspiration from various others and winging it. Also referring to several online photos of the monster.
I ended up using a 4 stitch i-cord for the eye stalks (so I could squeeze a pipe cleaner into it) and 3 stitch i-cord for the rest.
I wasn’t happy with the first monster so tried another. It’s better I think, but the eye stalks might be a bit long.
After messing around with it I’m leaving it alone now.
I’m gifting the second one and keeping the other.
