I took a class while up in Maine and this is what i made. The beads and wire altogether cost $26. It was crazy how simple it was. String beads onto wire as desired. Leave a tail and then chain four then add bead. After you have it at a good length chain four and end. Do three of these. When done gather one end of the tails and start to braid from the first chains down. when you get to the end twist to keep in place. Pull tails through your clasp and bring ends back around and wrap its self to keep it in place.

After the class I gave the necklace to Becky so she could wear it on her wedding day. It matched the sash on her wedding dress. She got tons of compliments. I was so excited she liked and wore it.

Bad part, she is allergic to metals and half way through the reception admitted to some scratchy feeling. She wore it through out the whole thing and didn’t break out though.
