Love this hat. Soft and squishy and fits perfectly.

I made a few modifications for my larger-than-average head and to give the hat have more slouch (I didn’t want a close-fitting beanie).

1) Knit the ribbing to 4.5 inches, 2) knit 6 rounds before the colorwork, 3) knit until piece measured 9.5 inches from CO before starting the crown shaping, 4) used a more rapid crown shaping (borrowed from my Downy Hat), for more slouch.
