Modifications:

1) Added a bit of length to the body.

2) Upper front: Because the V-neck and armholes were coming out too deep, I didn’t shape the shoulders with short rows after finishing the V-neck shaping. Instead, I bound off the shoulders in steps at the same time that I finished up the V-neck shaping. I also stopped the V-neck shaping sooner - I decided to go with 30 shoulder stitches. Bound off 8 stitches three times, then 6 one time.

I seamed the shoulders. I much prefer seaming to the three-needle bind-off because you’re working from the right side and can see how the seam is looking. Also, the stitches align correctly.

3) I didn’t want the back neck stitches falling high on my back neck - it feels uncomfortable - so I added a few rows of shaping to the back neck to drop it a little. I had 114 stitches on the upper back. The numbers were: 30 shoulder stitches - 4 neck edge stitches (bound off 2 at neck edge 2 times) - 46 center (bound-off) stitches - 4 neck edge stitches - 30 shoulder stitches.

4) Ripped out the original neckband because the V-neck was too wide for my shoulders. I worked 7 rounds of k2-p1 ribbing instead. The neck is really perfect now.

5) Added length to the sleeves.
