I just love Berlin Wool Work patterns and copied this one some time ago. It’s been in the stash, waiting for a reason. I thought I’d hang it up a shed we call The Bus Stop. You’ll see it from afar.
But, I need to stiffen the lace. I thought a solution of diluted pva glue, painted or soaked might do the trick. Plus it’ll make it last.
Any advice is welcome!
The picture is glued onto cardboard, then sandwiched between sheets of plastic project covers, hole-punched and crocheted. I’ll probably run pva around the edges too, so moisture doesn’t easily get in.
Anyhow, it’s so cheap and easy. If it lasts a few years I’ll be happy.
I have a ton of patterns and tutorials over here.
