Frogged!
April 22nd 2014
Well, I’m ashamed. Nearly 7 years in the making, and nagging me the whole time! I’m on a tidy-up binge. Sorting things, finishing things.
So, I’ve given myself until April 25th. Photo’s will follow, unless of course I hate it, then I’ll take a pic, and frog.
January 2012
Look at that! Nearly 2 years and I’ve just actually picked it up to finish! It is a job with all of the sewing together, that’s for sure!
However, the wool is amazing. So soft and warm. I can’t wait to see it done and on. Hope it looks ok on my podge!

I’ve just picked this up again and knitted the collar according to the pattern. Now I’m going to pull it out and, as I said I would, pick it up and knit it in situ. There is no reason why not that I can see.
I’m glad I’ve used the wool before as I now know that it washes and wears beautifully!
September 9, 2009:
Update. I’ve finished the bits, now it’s time to sew them together and pick up stitches to do the collar. Wish me luck! If it works I’ll post it against the pattern…
I’m up to the last sleeve, then the collar. With no clear directions, I’m hoping I’ve read it all rightly.
This is an old pattern, so it’s not simply laid out. I have to think! It seems to be correct when it comes down to it though…
I like the colour of the Yak wool. It’s lovely to use and feels very soft. I’ve had to buy another 3 skeins to what the pattern says and may need one more but Oh Well! It’s the most expensive garment I own, which says a bit about my wardrobe.
They say to knit the collar in two sections, then to sew it onto the cardigan but I’m going to pick up the stitches and knit it on. I can’t see why that would be a problem.
I hope it fits! I hope I like it! Otherwise, it might turn into the poncho I have queued.
