OK, so it’s coming into spring… not really the time to be knitting cuffs, but I am in love with the knitting in the new show (from the long-loved books by Diana Gabaldon) Outlander.
I get the’ not-really-historic-knitting’ commentary everywhere about the show, but what the hey!
I want to be Claire. I want to wear those clothes, without it being ‘costume’ and maybe without the corsets come to think of it. 18th Century but nicer. No bossiness or superstition. Better hospitals.
Perhaps a single good light for evening knitting.
