It’s finished and it’s so gorgeous I might need to have a little cry. The colours are amazingly rich and beautiful.

I would have had it finished sooner, but am working on another so…
I hope it fits. I’ll post pics later, with a little sweet face in it. (OK, so the 3 year old doesn’t like it around his neck… I gave it to his sister).

I’ve been intending to make my littlest grandson one of these gorgeous hats, for ever. It will go with his Barbie Magic Knitting Machine scarf and his tiny wristees, and his lovely pale blonde curls (and blue eyes).
I had intended to make it with Bendigo’s alpaca, but they’ve discontinued it.Sigh! However, maybe with some plain wool and the light coloured alpaca, it won’t be so sweaty??
