To make life easier, I have wound small amounts of each colour onto cards, which hang behind the cloth as I knit. And, decided to work on straight needles, to avoid tangling as they hand down behind..

Somewhat arduous! Phew! Thank goodness it’s 10ply and will grow quickly! Intarsia’s got hairs on it, especially being an all-over design! But, it’s such a gorgeous cardigan.

I’m de-stashing with the main charcoal grey and one contrast (deep pink) being Lettlopi, which is scratchy, but apparently washes up softer and I have it (I’m not thinking I’d wear a 10ply cardigan against my skin anyway). I’d buy the recommended Rowan Creative Focus Worsted (as in the pattern) because it’s gorgeous, but they’ve discontinued it for some unknown reason. Dudes! Bring it back!
