I began this bag some time ago but intend to complete it now. I cut up an old art book, using my darling Mme Caroline Rivière (Ingres) and Botticelli ‘s Venus as the main.
As is, it is frail and doesn’t stand well (hence the hibernation) but I will make another inside sleeve, perhaps detachable, perhaps stiffened cloth, and finish the handle.
I want to put a wide lace section across the fronts, with a string tie and bobbles.
It might need corners for the base too, or similar.
