Notes

Have waited on the perfect pattern for the this yarn - think I nailed it! I would say that yarn and button combo kind of reflects the name of the pattern ‘Window to my soul’ - the soul is booth a bit sweet and a bit dark - complexity and contradiction.

Part of my plucktober2015 and jojifallKAL2015

Modifications

Credit to SurMonCeriser and lilalu whom I copied.

  • Did a couple of extra rows/increases since the raglan seemed to small for me. Decreased back to correct size after division for the arms. Worked fine.

  • Pattern stitch on whole body. No waist shaping.

  • Full length sleeves.

  • Approximately 4” k2/p2 rib on body and sleeves.

Other

I always go down a needle size when knitting with primo fingering.

Spray blocked - was afraid the lace would grow too much is wet blocking.

Would suggest to add an extra stitch or so on each side of the front in order to make the pick up of and the edge of the button band more neat.

Used skull buttons (pink mother pearl) from Etsy LINK. The buttons are quite small so had to sew/decrease button holes in order to make them small enough.

Tried to alternate skeins when needed but there is a tiny little bit of pooling.
