Notes

This is for an art teacher friend of mine. She wanted a very small bag in bright, sunshiny colors. I dyed the yellow yarn because I couldn’t find Cascade 220 in the right yellow. The bag was a really fast knit… Less than 8 hours of knitting time altogether! I felted it by hand in hot soapy water in the kitchen sink. I decided to try needle felting for the first time to add a flower and leaf.

I let the art teacher choose from a pile of buttons. Little Grump and I used a kumihimo loom to create the strap. I really wanted more vibrant colors for the handle, but for now, we’ll call this one done.

The art teacher is very happy!
