8/02/13 - Alrighty then. Guess who got her knit-jo on? Yep, that would be me. I pulled it all back and started again on 20/1/13 and finally finished the knitting part last night. I need to gift it tomorrow to my niece. I don’t think I’m going to get to the shops to get some ribbon so I am going with a crocheted one. I will see what a simple chain looks like but I am thinking a ribbon of dc or tr would be nice, depends on what will fit through the holes. I am now wondering if using the same yarn will be nice or a contrast with a white of the same yarn type. I’ve also changed the commencement date of this project to properly reflect the start and finish (anal!!)

Photos will be up when I’ve woven in the ends … I don’t think I will block the skirt as the cotton yarn I used seems to be sitting fairly flat. I guess once I photograph it we will know hahahaha

16/01/13 - hmph! lost a couple stitches, tried to unravel to find them, lost my spot, doubted my choice of yarn, unraveled further. Need to start again. And the little girl is growing. Ok, so it really is frogged after hybernating for months, but I will start it again and get it finished in 3 weeks! But I will do it when the humidity stops.

31/10/12 - Completed all the rounds up to the separation of sleeves, then found that I have a dodgy stitch count. Not an easy one to pull back. That was two weeks ago. Since then I have been nursing my little boy after surgery and making a crochet blanket. Must find motivation again! And this close to Christmas with a tonne of other handmades to be completed aaaarrrrrggghhh!
