Notes

This is a 4-shaft weave. Modified shawl draft to make a blanket/throw, doubling the width.
Also modified placement of colors to utilize more of the greens and peacock, and so I had enough of each color yarn. Seriously, a 1-inch stripe of peacock? Followed color ideas from another Rav project.

Harrisville Shetland wool.
512 ends, 3.5 yard warp (NB: warp was almost too short adding 30” loom waste. Add more next time!)
Sett 8 (16 in DW) in 8 dpi reed. 128 heddles per shaft, 4 shafts. Interspersed the heddles from shafts 5-8 to give me room.
Wove to 95”. Cut fringes to 6” and twisted 4x2, 16 twists cw, 9 ccw. Found around a dozen floats, mainly on the bottom half, but (hopefully) all were easily repaired before fulling.
Fulled in the kitchen sink, which was much too small, with lots of dish soap. Next time find a bathtub.
I can’t believe this came out so close to my goal measurements. I was aiming for 50x70. After fulling 51x75.
Does this need pressing? Inquiring minds…
