Kit from Lunatic Fringe, 10/2 mercerized cotton.
8-shaft point twill threading with various tie-ups and treadlings.
First to choose which color layout: Around the Spectrum starts with blue/green and goes around to blue. Folded Rows are all warm then all cool colors going across. (Went with Around the Spectrum.)

7.5 yd warp, 560 ends (28 of each of 20 colors),
24 epi in 12-dent reed. 23.5” in the reed.

PW first napkin came out considerably larger than the rest. I only beat at about 21 ppi. Due to the different interlacements most of the twill napkins came in at around 26 ppi but the two waffle weave pieces measured at 30 ppi. Ended up with 10 napkins.

PW 26” long x 21” wide
twills: 19-21” long x 20” wide
waffle: 16 1/2” x 19”

A fun learning project. If I make them again I’ll probably do more with a simple black weft; that made the colors really pop.
