After much studying on this pattern and worrying over positive ease/negative ease I’ve decided to cast on.

I’m knitting a size 34 and I’m a size 38 bust. Positive Ease has always been confusing to me or maybe I just over-think the pattern.

2/17/23 - while on vacation in Montana I decided to cast on since I’d have the time to study the pattern and do my cast on.

2/22/23 - I’m loving this pattern. Most of the yoke is done. The fabric created is lovely and feels so squishy. Getting close to separating for the sleeves.

2/28/23 - Separated for sleeves.

3/20/23 - After sleeves separated have continued in the round and will place on holding cable in order to try on.

3/22/23 - Stitches placed on hold, and will try on and hold my breath that it fits like I planned. Success! The fit is perfect!!

4/23/23 - Body of sweater finished, on sleeves now. Overall it goes pretty fast just get a little tired of knitting “blips”. I look forward to finishing and get the blocking done.

6/30/23 - Still working on the sleeves, I guess sleeve island is where I am LOL. I’ve had to take a little break as my left thumb has been giving me grief. Time to return to my orthopedist for another injection!

11/19/23 - I’ve been on sleeve island for a while, so glad to be finished!
