I cast on another item which leads me to believe I don’t have any sense of how much I can handle. This will be a Yule gift for my brother. But if I insist on continuing this habit of casting on and jumping back and forth between a ton of projects, I might as well throw this into the mix so it has a feasible chance of getting completed on time. (Ideally, I hope to finish and gift in early, in time for cold weather.)

Been working on this here and there. Kind of wish I had went down a needle size or even two and then added a few more stitches in a clever way mainly because it’s a little…holey. I wouldn’t mind it but if I know my brother that’ll be something he’ll comment on. I wasn’t planning on felting it (because never done any felting) but maybe that will help make it more dense?
