Same mods as first bonnet, inverted SSK and K2tog, slip-stitch selvedge. Knitting took about 1 hr.

Ties: twisted up two strand of 33 cm long yarn against each other. Finished length of ties is 25 cm - might be a bit short?

Update 28/04: Simone tried it on a newborn with a 36 cm head circumference and it is definitely too small. I made this on smaller needles than recommended in the pattern, so this might explain this. Didn’t want to use bigger needles because the stitches were too slopply looking.
