I’ve started a tradition of making a pair of socks for my daughters to wear on the first day of school, so they can start the school year “on the right foot”. We go and they pick the yarn out (as long as their taste isnt TOO expensive). Then over the summer, I knit them up. This pair is for my oldest daughter Emily. She will be in 3rd grade this year. I love the coloring of this yarn, and I’ve actually thought about making a pair for myself. Maybe I’ll just borrow hers…
