Ordered 2 skeins of The Fibre Company Terra in Hyacinth from Chelsea Yarns.

• 11/30/12: The cold has finally arrived in the bay so it’s fitting that I make myself a pair of mittens!
• 12/26/12: After taking a hiatus from selfish knitting because I had to make a slew of baby items, I finally finished my mittens. This is really a quick knit…one could conceivably have these done in a weekend. I chose to use larger buttons than the pattern called for after listening to my husband, “Owls have big eyes, they should be exaggerated.” I LOVE these mittens because of the incredibly soft yarn!
