My daughter saw a hat just like this at the store and asked me to make it. How could I say no?? I did make some mods: I wanted the ribbing and cabling to line up better so I CO 72 and worked the ribbing as follows:
K2,P2,K2,P1,K1,P1
and then I worked the body: K6, P3.

When I finished, the hat was a bit too short so I ripped back and added one more cable repeat before I began the decreases.

It was just what she wanted!
