I didn’t want my hat to be quite so slouchy so I made it just a smidge shorter than written. This style hat looks so cute, it just might turn me into a hat person!

Blackstone Tweed is a wonderful, light, warm, fluffy, tweedy yarn. If you pull it too hard you will break it - this is not a flaw in the yarn, though, it’s just a woolen-spun yarn, which breaks easier than worsted-spun. Don’t let that scare you away from using it!
