My brother’s neighbor saw his Katamari & Prince and apparently fell in love. She reached out and ordered 2 sets, 1 for her boyfriend & 1 for herself, choosing the colors for the Katamari & requesting some special add-ons for the Princes.

I had a lot of fun making these & got to use up a ton of scrap yarn. Mauren lucked out as I had more traditional Prince colors, so hr Princes are a bit more accurate than my brother’s was (not that he minded one bit n_~)

The guitar came from Addison the Kitty, with the only changes being I attached the yarn at the top and chained 11, then sc 10 back down for the neck instead of making a separate piece. Th guitar hole is just a mc with 6 sc in black. The guitar strap was 1 row of sc (I can’t recall how long, but to b the same length as the guitar).

The headphones are made pretty simply by starting each ear piece with 6 sc in a mc, then increasing 6 stitches each round until you get to 24. 1 more round orange, 1 round black, then start decrease 6 stitches back down to 6 (with your first decrease round tbl). The reference pics I got showed a yellow R on the headphones, so I also embroidered those on. The strap is a 35 sc chain made by attaching to the top of 1 ear piece, ch 36, sl st to top of other ear piece, sc back down, and end with a sl st on the first ear piece.

Again, I changed how the face was done. Instead of working it into the head, I made a rectangle 12 x 8 st and sewed that on to the center of the head. I then used yellow and sc around the face after it was attached.
