These socks will be part of a Christmas gift grab bag for the high school girls at my church, so I’m not sure what size the eventual wearer will be. However, they’re all about my height so I’m guessing they’re all about my foot size, and so I’m making these for sizes US women’s 7-8.

Cast on 40 stitches using provisional crochet cast on (so I can attach ribbon yarn edging later). Did k1tbl p1 rib for 4 inches (23 rows after cast on).

Heel:
(RS) slip 1, k1 across
(WS) p across
Do these 2 rows 10 times (20 rows total)

Started toe 39 rows after picked up gusset.
Flat toe
Toe: 5 decreases

Crochet edging:
Removed yarn from provisional cast on. dc into each stitch. sc into each dc. ch 3, 2 dc into same stitch, skip 2 stitches then sc into 3rd stitch Repeat.
